Disney's FOX deal makes ESPN the true 'worldwide leader'

After months of speculation, Disney announced its agreement to acquire 21st Century Fox for $52.4 billion in stock. The deal will merge Fox's movie and television assets with Disney's already stacked portfolio of intellectual properties, and would combine Fox's 22 regional sports networks (such as Fox Sports Carolinas) with ESPN.
