Texas A&M power forward Robert Williams happy he skipped draft to return to Aggies

Robert Williams’ mother, Tondra, has three jobs, including working as a cafeteria lady at his old middle school in Houston. His father, also named Robert, works as a custodian. Williams, a 6-foot-9 power forward from Texas A&M, was a projected lottery pick in the NBA Draft this year, and could’ve taken the millions he would’ve earned then to help give his parents a better life.
