'We still have more to do': UNC minority faculty tops peer group at 11 percent

Though UNC ranks among the highest of its peer institutions in terms of diversity, many still see room for improvement in the percentage of faculty of color, female faculty and LGBTQ faculty. Minority faculty members account for 11.9 percent of UNC’s faculty at-large, according to data from Fall 2014.
