The first word in Creighton point guard Maurice Watson’s message regarding the torn knee ligament that ended his fabulous college basketball career was “sucks.” If he’d stopped there, he’d have pretty much covered it. Watson was injured attempting a layup in Monday afternoon’s visit to Xavier for the Bluejays’ sixth Big East game and the last in which he would appear.
