The UNC Women's Soccer team would play two more games without Abby. She remained in Cleveland with her family, spending many mornings paddle boarding out on the lake behind her house. It was her place to be alone. It was how she began to process the tragedy. When the girls found out the date of the funeral, they immediately began looking up flights.
