UNC journalism students cover Rio Olympics and have cool stories to prove it

As a child, Paul Beam dreamt of being an Olympic swimmer. So when he got the opportunity to cover water polo at the Rio Olympics, he was excited to see the Olympic Aquatics Stadium in person. He did more than just see the venue — he swam in it, a longstanding tradition for staff at the Olympics.
