Evan Sola Claims Third ACC Wrestling Title, Earns Trip To Nationals


Senior All-America Evan Sola captured his third ACC wrestling title at 133 pounds to lead UNC to a third-place finish at the league championships Saturday. The Tar Heels totaled 60.5 points to finish behind NC State and Maryland and did not win the team title for the first time since 2004. Sola will now move on to the 2007 NCAA Wrestling Championships, scheduled for March 15-17 in Auburn Hills, Mich. (Tar Heel Blue)
