Hundreds mourn Tar Heels mascot

The eulogies spoke of Jason Ray's deep religious beliefs. The casket and flowers highlighted his love for the Tar Heels. On Saturday, more than 1,000 mourners packed Concord First Assembly to say farewell to Ray, the UNC-Chapel Hill senior and Tar Heels mascot who died last week after an SUV struck him.
