Wolfpack tops Tar Heels in budget growth Posted Aug 24, 2011 The Wolfpack athletics department’s budget is growing faster than that of the rival Tar Heels. Over the past three years, NCSU’s athletics department budget has grown nearly 24 percent to $56.6 million, according to SportsBusiness Journal.
