No. 4 Tar Heels Set For Opener Against No. 1 Akron


The No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels will open their 2010 campaign on Friday when they host a familiar foe in No. 1 Akron at 7 p.m. at Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels and Zips battled to a 0-0 draw in the 2009 College Cup semifinals with Akron advancing on penalties 5-4. The consensus No. 1 selection in every preseason poll the Akron Zips are coming off a 21-1-1 season. (Tar Heel Blue)
