Rivals meet again in lacrosse quarterfinals

On April 9, 1938, the first lacrosse game in Duke history produced a 2-1 victory, an outcome that will almost surely stand as the lowest-scoring game in school history for all-time. Fittingly, the game was against UNC. The longstanding rivalry will be renewed yet again today, this time with the stakes about as high as they've ever been. For the third time in the last four years, the teams will meet in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. (Durham Herald-Sun)
