NCSU to hang another loss on UNC

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

NC State fans can take satisfaction in knowing that their team’s late-season surge will cost the Tar Heels a fistful of money. With the ACC expense money covering the difference between their bowl game’s payout and NCSU’s costs, the league’s bowl payments to the other ACC schools will be reduced by about $50,000 each. So, in a sense, UNC and the other 10 ACC schools are helping to pay for NCSU's bowl trip. (Triangle Business Journal)
