Michigan admits football recruiting violations, agrees to probation in NCAA probe

Michigan has admitted to pandemic-era recruiting violations involving its football program as part of a negotiated resolution with the NCAA that includes placing the team on probation and additional penalties. The punishment includes three years of probation, an unspecified fine and recruiting restrictions. The NCAA said Michigan has agreed to the penalties.
