UNC Women’s Lacrosse Falls to No. 3 Northwestern

Defending national champions Northwestern used a 5-0 run in the first half to take control against the UNC women’s lacrosse team Monday afternoon at Dorrance Field. The run gave the Wildcats a 7-3 lead they would not relinquish in a 16-10 win. Four Tar Heels, including Kiley Mottice, each scored twice, but Northwestern outshot North Carolina 35-24.
