UNC men, women are college soccer's dynamic duo

The best soccer program, women and men combined, is at North Carolina. The consistency of North Carolina's women's soccer program has never been in question. The Tar Heels women have 18 national titles in 24 years, and have made all but one Final Four. The men's team, though, has had a tougher time. It has one title, in 2001 -- ironically one of the years the women lost. This season, the men are ranked No. 2 and are unbeaten after eight games (7-0-1) for the first time since 1991. The women are No. 1, with a 10-0 mark. (Charlotte Observer)
