UNC alum Rob Nelson will help to launch national news show in Chicago

New Orleans first got to know when he was a reporter for The Times-Picayune, before he moved on to television. Now, Nelson and his family have landed in Chicago, where he’s part of a brave experiment: the Sept. 1 launch of a Chicago-based prime-time cable newscast on WGN America. He came to New Orleans in 2000, after graduating from UNC. (NOLA.com)
