Independent panel to rule on NC State recruiting infraction case

A case involving alleged recruiting infractions at NC State will go through an independent investigation process. The case involves the recruitment of former Wolfpack basketball star Dennis Smith Jr. The NCAA has charged NC State with four violations, including former coach Mark Gottfried being charged individually for violations within his program.
