The San Francisco 49ers preseason game against the Houston Texans served as Jonathan Cooper’s first game action since returning from a knee injury. Cooper missed the team’s entire offseason program and began training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform List. Even when the veteran guard returned, it took another two weeks before he saw reps in full-team drills.
