UNC Linebacker Commit Payton Wilson Tears ACL, Will Visit Other Schools

Payton Wilson, one of UNC’s top 2018 recruits, has a torn ACL, his father said on Monday. Wilson is a 4-star outside linebacker from Hillsborough, North Carolina. He suffered the injury on the opening kickoff of his last game. Wilson's father said his son will take an official visit to N.C. State this weekend and Notre Dame on Nov. 18. Payton committed to the Tar Heels on May 1.
