Turnovers plague otherwise decent debut for Tar Heels' Dailey

Monday, September 04, 2006

It was shaping up as a storybook ending for Joe Dailey: In his first start at North Carolina, and with time running out, he was going to march the Tar Heels downfield and eke out a victory over Rutgers. Dailey's underthrown attempt in the closing minutes was intercepted by Manny Collins just shy of the red zone, sealing the Scarlet Knights' 21-16 victory over North Carolina on Saturday.
