Chapel Hill - Redshirt freshman Cam Sexton will start at quarterback for North Carolina against Furman on Saturday, UNC coach John Bunting said today. Sexton played in his first collegiate game last weekend during the Tar Heels' 35-10 loss to Virginia Tech, completing 9 of 21 passes. Nebraska transfer Joe Dailey, who started UNC's first two games, will still play, Bunting said.
