North Carolina evened the series with Syracuse on Sunday, outlasting a valiant Syracuse offense for an 11-10 victory in nine innings. The pair returned to the diamond for the series finale, but after UNC took a 3-1 lead in the top of the third, the game was halted for travel reasons and will not be completed.
