Why did ESPN, CBS Sports Network pass on ODU's home game against North Carolina?
Posted Apr 13, 2017
ESPN and CBS Sports Network both took a pass last week on televising ODU’s Sept. 16 home football game against North Carolina. That was stunning, given UNC’s national profile and the fact that ODU is coming off a 10-win season and its first bowl victory. That follows a similar snub in 2015, when the networks also failed to broadcast ODU’s home game with NC State.
