Heels say that the worst is over

North Carolina will play in Kenan Stadium today for the first time since Sept. 16, still confident that it can save its season but still lacking a solution to complete the job. Its opponent will be South Florida, a program in its 10th season. Kickoff will be at noon. UNC (1-4) played its last two games on the road, losing both by a combined score of 79-14, but its battered players say they believe that the worst is over.
