Hawks' Williams eager to impress
Posted Oct 26, 2006
Atlanta Hawks second-year forward Marvin Williams is borrowing a line from the old Avis commercial. He's No. 2 and trying harder after an unimpressive rookie season. Williams was the second player selected in the 2005 draft, one spot behind center Andrew Bogut, who helped the Milwaukee Bucks reach the playoffs, and two spots ahead of point guard Chris Paul, the rookie of the year whose New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets contended for a postseason berth until the final weeks of the season.
