Mistaken Identity: Parker isn't "Pittsburgh," but he's a Steeler


When God created football, he presented identities for certain cities with certain franchises. The Pittsburgh Steelers are a blue-collar offense led by a bruising, hardnosed running back like Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier or Jerome Bettis. Somewhere between Adam, Eve and the parting of the seas, didn't get the memo. He may not personify the city or the mentality of the team and its coach, but the fleet-footed back is now forever etched in Steelers lure. (Sports Network)
