UNC rumbles past UVa in second half for win

A 93-yard third-period drive that consumed nearly six minutes helped push normally quick-striking North Carolina to a 26-13 victory over Virginia on Saturday at Kenan Stadium. The drive, which began following a Virginia punt, ended early in the fourth period with a 3-yard run by UNC’s Elijah Hood. The touchdown was Hood’s second of the afternoon. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
