Tar Heel Alum Competing In CrossFit Games


Eight years after her UNC softball career ended, Whitney Gelin is competing for a national championship in a different sport. A 2007 Carolina graduate with a double major in psychology and exercise and sport science, Gelin is one of 40 women from around the world who qualified to compete in the women’s open category at the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games in Carson, Calif. The Games run July 21-26. (GoHeels.com)
