For freshman receiver Austin Proehl, football isn’t simply a game — it’s the only thing he’s known since he was born. As the son of Ricky Proehl, one of the best wide receivers to ever play in the NFL, Proehl’s been around the game for longer than most players’ entire careers. And that familiarity of the game has given the rookie an advantage that most college freshmen don’t have.
