New hope at Carolina Posted Apr 8, 2007 Offensive line coach Sam Pittman said that Butch Davis encourages his coaches to take a positive approach in teaching the players. This doesn't mean being slack on teaching fundamentals or demanding effort; it means teaching with intelligence and respect.
