Yates fares well behind center for Heels

Quarterback took fewer than 24 hours to commit to the Tar Heels when he was a high school senior. Yates, two years later, is still showing signs of doing things rapidly. Yates finished 10-of-15 for 163 yards and three touchdowns Saturday in UNC's spring football contest at Kenan Stadium. Yates' quick progression may put the Tar Heels in a similar predicament as they were last season – deciding on a starting quarterback. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
