UNC's First Down Breakdown

To open the second half against San Diego State, UNC ran the ball on its first nine first-down snaps. Those drives led to a missed field goal and a 65-yard drive for a touchdown. Not one pass on first down on either possession, and the Tar Heels were finally finding themselves. Running back T.J. Logan said when that happens the offense is far more effective.
