Virginia's first drive looked promising, consuming time and turf at North Carolina's Kenan Stadium. But in a familiar tale in a lost season, the Cavaliers stalled and then the game assumed a familiar pattern. The Tar Heels scored without much resistance on their first two possessions, jumping out to a lead they never relinquished, as Virginia dropped its seventh straight game, 45-14. (Virginian-Pilot)
