Fedora, Doeren sound off against targeting rule


There seemed to be plenty of disagreement between North Carolina and N.C. State following the Tar Heels’ 27-19 victory last Saturday. That was obvious with the pushing and shoving that ensued at midfield after the last play. But UNC coach and N.C. State coach Dave Doeren found a common enemy from the game: The NCAA’s targeting penalty, which can result in an ejection. (Burlington Times News)
