If you think the Hurricanes can’t lose when the teams meet Thursday night, think again. Actually, just think back to Oct. 30, 2004. No. 3 Miami was heavily favored over a 3-4 UNC squad in Chapel Hill. But Miami couldn’t stop running back Chad Scott (175 yards) and true freshman Connor Barth kicked a 42-yard field goal as time ran out, lifting the Tar Heels to a 31-28 upset.
