Davis has a lot of teaching to do
Posted Jul 27, 2007
Butch Davis may have a hard time deciding whether to teach his team football or change their diapers. "Our biggest weakness is the inexperience of this football team," the first-year Carolina coach said this week at the Atlantic Coast Conference's annual Football Kickoff, which was held in Pinehurst. "We have 84 players on scholarship right now," Davis said, "and I think 51 of them have never played in a college football game. That in and of itself is enough to keep you awake at night. But it is what it is."
