Countdown to Kickoff: Georgia Tech

North Carolina opens its ACC slate on Saturday against Georgia Tech in Atlanta, a locale where the Tar Heels haven’t won since 1997. Kickoff is set for noon (ESPN). The Yellow Jackets lead the series with a 27-18-3 mark, including four straight and 13 of the last 15. Four of those losses have come in UNC’s conference opener over the past decade.
