Sat Oct 27, 2012
By picking the Tar Heels up, putting them on his back and single-handedly carrying them to an improbable 43-35 victory, Giovani Bernard accomplished something no one wearing Carolina blue has done in five years. Beat the Wolfpack. And the most remarkable thing about his performance is that he wasn’t even supposed to be on the field for his game-winning 74-yard punt return for a touchdown with 13 seconds left.
