Will Grier passes for 493 yards, six touchdowns

Though just a junior, Will Grier continues to rise in the Mecklenburg County record books and enhance his reputation as a strong Division I college prospect. Over the weekend, the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder completed 29 of 36 passes for 493 yards and six touchdowns as Davidson Day defeated North Raleigh Christian Academy 42-35. His six touchdown passes tied for third in Mecklenburg County history (he also had six as a sophomore), and the yardage ranks No. 4 in history. (Max Preps)
