QB Kanler Coker flips from East Carolina to North Carolina
Posted Jan 17, 2012
North Carolina’s new football coach, Larry Fedora, must’ve given the recruiting sales pitch of a lifetime on Monday. He made an in-home visit with Flowery Branch QB Kanler Coker and convinced him to switch his commitment from East Carolina to North Carolina – without Coker taking an official visit to UNC. “Coach Fedora offered me, we talked a few hours and it just felt right,” Coker said. “North Carolina has always been one of my ‘dream schools.’ I went with my heart. I went ahead and committed.”
