Tarboro's Todd Gurley tops Top 50 prospects list

Although Todd Gurley prefers running back, his college potential at a variety of positions is what has earned him the No. 1 spot on The Fayetteville Observer's 17th annual preseason list of the state's top 50 college prospects. "The kid can do it all, and I think he can do it all at the Division I level,'' Craddock said. Some of the top major-college programs agree. Gurley has received scholarship offers from defending national champion Auburn, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, N.C. State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. (Fayetteville Observer)
