T.J. Thorpe finds bond with UNC coaching staff

T.J. Thorpe said his first month at college has been a smooth transition, and it's convenient being so close to home. He sees his parents and friends regularly and is able to get his car on the weekends. He's also close enough that his mom can come and pick up his laundry. "It has its perks," Thorpe said. And even though Thorpe has graduated from Jordan High, he said he plans on walking with his senior class in June.
