Tar Heels survive Music City madness, claim dramatic win in wild finish

UNC’s football season, one full of strange twists and controversy, added another chapter when the Tar Heels were declared defeated Thursday night at LP Field. Then they rewrote a version of the Music City Miracle. Given a reprieve with one second put back on the clock in regulation, UNC produced a tying field goal and then won in the second overtime, topping Tennessee 30-27 in front of an irate sell-out crowd in the Music City Bowl.
