North Carolina lands lanky defensive end

One of Tennessee’s top high-school senior football players, Mike McAdoo of Antioch, has decided to play his college ball at North Carolina. McAdoo is a 6-7, 220-pound defensive end. He told The Tennessean of Nashville yesterday that he had committed after making his campus visit last weekend. McAdoo is North Carolina’s 11th commitment. (Winston-Salem Journal)
