Friday Football Recruit Game Notes


Below are a few outstanding performances by UNC football recruits in this week's high school games.


UNC running back commit tallied 87 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries en route to a 56-37 Salisbury victory.


UNC wide receiver commit had an 88-yard kickoff return as his Durham Hillside team defeated Durham Jordan 34-14.


North Carolina wide receiver commit had a rushing touchdown and an interception leading his Madison Academy team to a 38-0 victory.


Tar Heel quarterback commit passed for three touchdowns and rushed for two more as his Mallard Creek team defeated North Meck 48-0.


UNC offensive guard commit protected quarterback Tyler Farmer well enough to throw for 278 yards, but James' Aycock team lost to South Johnston 39-36.

Savon Huggins
UNC running back target Savon Huggins had a monster game rushing for 211 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-0 victory.

Drew Owens
UNC tight end target Drew Owens caught an 88-yard touchdown pass in a 46-15 loss.
