Rutgers true freshman tailback Jordan Thomas ready if called upon to start against UNC

The prospect of making his first college start -- and doing it against North Carolina this Saturday -- doesn't seem to have Jordan Thomas, Rutgers' true freshman tailback, on edge. Thomas' role against the Tar Heels depends largely on the healing powers of Joe Martinek, who has been limited or out most of the past 10 days because of an ankle injury. (Newark Star-Ledger)
