Mental errors plague Heels in Meineke Bowl loss
Posted Dec 27, 2009
After making a spectacular touchdown catch over two Pittsburgh defenders Saturday early in the Meineke Car Care Bowl, North Carolina receiver Greg Little kicked the football into the stands at Bank of America Stadium. The emotional outburst drew a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty that set the tone for a wave of mental errors that plagued the Tar Heels and ultimately led to a 19-17 loss to the No. 17-ranked Panthers.
