Kendric Burney, Defense Lift UNC to Victory

UNC qualified for postseason play on Saturday after upsetting No. 12 Miami, 33-24 at Kenan Stadium. UNC’s secondary – led by cornerback Kendric Burney – returned four interceptions for 214 yards and two touchdowns in UNC’s fifth-straight victory over a ranked opponent. The Tar Heels closed out their home schedule by notching their third-straight win over the Hurricanes. Miami is now winless in four attempts in Chapel Hill.
