Trase Jones takes on new role for Tar Heels

As the Tar Heels ran onto the field at Kenan Stadium Saturday Oct. 10 to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles, had a different task on his hands. Shortly after the coin flip, Jones trotted onto the field, set the ball on the tee and booted his first collegiate kickoff for 67 yards to the three-yard line. Jones also made his first collegiate tackle on the opening play as he tackled Georgia Southern returner Darrell Pasco. (Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald)
