UNC offers Philly defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd

Defensive lineman Sharrif Floyd (6-3 311) of Philadelphia is wrapping up his spring break swing through the Carolinas by stopping by South Carolina. Floyd arrived in Columbia Wednesday night and spent Thursday around the football program and the school.
Floyd said he's been offered by South Carolina, North Carolina, Syracuse, Rutgers, Penn State, Boston College, UCLA, Stanford, Maryland and Florida International. He plans to attend Penn State's spring game. He does not have favorites.
